Great Eastern Sun

With Jesse Miller
24 & 25 November, 2018
 Auckland Shambhala Centre

“We learn to reject the terror of morning depression and step into morning basic goodness,
right on the spot.”
Great Eastern Sun, Chögyam Trungpa

Great Eastern Sun is the primordial energy and brilliance that radiates from the fabric of all phenomena.  Great Eastern Sun is the gateway to the Sacred Path teachings and our experience of sacred world, in the lifelong journey of creating a sane society.

On the Shambhala Sacred Path we receive the root texts, the treasure teachings that Chogyam Trungpa wrote down in a series of visionary experiences between 1976 and 1980 – and more advanced warriorship practices that extend our meditation and cultivate dignity.

Great Eastern Sun is the first of the five Shambhala Sacred Path weekends.

The prerequisite for this programme is Rigden weekend, but everyone who has completed Shambhala Training Level Five is warmly welcome to attend.

Programme fee:  $100;    Financial hardship and repeats:  $40

Breakfast is provided on Saturday and Sunday (please advise if you’re not attending for breakfast).  Bring your own lunch, or join us at the organic café across the road.

Confirm your registration by paying:   Auckland Shambhala  12 3015 0605321.00,
referencing your name and ‘GES’
